The LGBT chorus, Coro Allegro, is looking for a few volunteers who can help out with its November 24 concert. This is an opportunity to listen to some beautiful music, help the LGBT community, and get a good reference.
The volunteer tasks include ushering, staffing tables and other activities.
The chorus also needs a handful of people to help put up and take down the set on other days.
The November 24 concert, titled “Reflections of Mercy,” is a celebration of the life of two gay composers, along with other inspiring music. It will take place at the Church of the Covenant in the Back Bay.
Coro Allegro is widely recognized for its excellence. Its performances have been broadcast on WGBH’s “Classical Performances” and its music is available on the Internet and via CDs.
