The Latin@ Pride Committee is proud to present three awards during our Boston Latin@ Pride Community Award Reception this Friday September 28th from 6:00 - 8:30 p.m .at the Milky Way in Jamaica Plain.  

Our 2012 Awards are:

The Ejemplar Award honors a Latin@ LGBTQ individual who has made valuable and significant contributions to our community and thus serves as a role model to all of us. We are proud to give this award to Deigo Miguel Sanchez APR for his continued work with Congressman Barney Frank, who will be in attendance to show support for his Legislative Assistant Diego MiguelSanchez and Boston Latin@ Pride.

The Solidaridad Award honors an organization that has shown support for our Latin@ LGBTQ Community and Latin@ Pride through a collaborative and inclusive presence. We are honored to give this award to Gonzalez and Associates for their ongoing sponsorship and presence in both Latin@ Pride and Boston Pride events.

The Alianza Award honors an organization or individual who has shown dedication and commitment to supporting our local Latin@ LGBTQ Community. We are pleased to give this award to the Latino Health Institute for their ongoing efforts to spread education and awareness of Latino health matters.

Tickets are $35 in advance or $50 at the door, Attire is cocktail reception/business casual.

The Latin@ Pride Committee strives to create inclusive social and educational events for the Queer Latin@ Community of Boston. However, this would not be possible without the financial backing of our sponsors and patrons. The money raised by our Latin@ Pride Community Award Reception gets directly funneled into any/all services we provide. We are eternally grateful for all of our support, because this support aids us in serving our community.
