This year to honor the individuals who have used and been remembered in Medicine Wheel we will suspend thousands of offerings; poems, letters, clothing, jewelry, prayers, photos, etc. with red ribbons from the vaulted center of The Cyclorama at the Boston Center for the Arts. This year, the Cyclorama’s doors open at 10:00 pm on Saturday November 30, for the full 24-hours of Sunday, December 1, 2013.
AIDS Support Group of Cape Cod - Commemorating 30 Years of Service to the Community

As we commemorate 30 years of service people will be standing along commercial street each holding a sign with a year on it from 1983 through to 2013. People are encouraged to stroll down commercial street and share their memories of people we’ve lost over the years. We will then congregate at 4:30PM for a candlelight vigil in front of Provincetown Town Hall.

The evening’s activities involve a health fair, refreshments, and a guest presentation. World AIDS Day is celebrated across the globe each year. Over the past 25 years, significant strides and accomplishments have been made and while there is still much work ahead of us, there is so much to be thankful for.
As we look to a new era in HIV prevention, treatment and screening, it is important that civil society, nonprofits, and private institutions continue to work together to improve the quality of life for those infected or affected by HIV.
