The 14th annual Lesbians & Friends Dance, sponsored by the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition (MBCC), will take place this Jan. 21 (from 8:30 p.m. - 12:30 a.m.) at the Brookline Holiday Inn on 1200 Beacon Street. The event raises money to further the work of the MBCC, which focuses on breast cancer prevention through political advocacy and research into environmental links to breast cancer. Since its inception in 1992, the MBCC has received significant support from the lesbian community, and this annual dance has been our way of offering an evening of great music, good food, and lots of fun to the women’s community that has helped make our work possible.
